The Spanish Ironclad Pelayo was an ironclad battleship of the Spanish Armada, built in 1887 by the French after 3 years of construction. She would be presen for the Spanish American war, but ultimately did not openly enguage in the conflict, and was present for the outbreak of ww1, remaining as a training ship until 1921.Pelayo was eventually decommissioned on August 1, 1924.
